Studying

Somehow, everytime Forrest reaches a landmark in his education, I get my hopes up thinking: "Yay! He's done studying!! I can finally have my husband back!" And somehow, everytime I'm wrong. School at SUU - lots of studying. Graduation? Awesome! I think he's done. Oh wait, there's summer school. School at USC? Even harder than SUU. Way more studying. Then the real graduation. The big master's degree! Done with school. Right? Wrong. Welcome CPA exam. Possibly even worse than the master's program. 8+ hours a day of studying. He gets one day off a week. One day! I am grateful for that one day, but still. Is this ever going to end? He takes the first section of the CPA exam next week. Then comes the next section. Then the next. Then the next. Hopefully, if he passes them all the first time, I'll have him back by February or March. Just in time for busy season! Oh groan. I'm just now realizing what it really means to be the wife of an accountant.

Ha Ha! Hol you're awesome. When you said OH GROAN it reminded me so much of Grams. I'm sure you won't be complaining too much when you're all done and bringing in the big bucks :)

That is life. There is always a new trial and hardship. That is what makes it all fun and exciting. Don't worry, it will soon pass and then something new will start. You guys will do great! You come from a good stock.

That reminded me of Grams too! I feel for ya Hol - I don't know how it feels to have a husband that's busy studying all the time, but I do know what it's like to have a husband whose busy all the time! And it's hard. But just think where this will take you guys... you are very lucky to have a husband who wants the best for his family and is doing all he can to get there! Love you!
