Here's the awesome track we got to run at. It was a really nice track, but a small facility.

One of the guys on our team, Cameron Levins, ran the mile and did AMAZING! He broke the 4 minute mile barrier, running a 3:59.80. So fast. He was running against two olympians and the previous NCAA national champion. He's the first athlete in SUU history to break 4 minutes, and his time automatically qualified him for nationals and put him in 4th place right now in the NCAA. Unbelievable. Here's his time on the scoreboard: He's the one in 4th.
This is our 4x4 team at the track. We ran pretty well, especially since it was only the 2nd meet of the season. It was really fun getting to know the girls better, especially Shaye (far left) because she's a freshman so I didn't hardly know her at all. They are a really fun group of girls and we had a blast together!

On Friday we went to Pike's Market.. it's this huge street market right on the waterfront. It was so awesome. After we went, we were watching Grey's Anatomy. There was a part where Derek gets into the elevator and the door behind him is glass. The view behind him was of this very sign behind us in the picture! The one that says Public Market Center. I thought that was really cool. It was a way fun market!

There was so much fresh fish at the market. These crabs were monstrous! Like I don't even think both of my hands would be as big as they were. They were so huge.

This is the team at the waterfront! Just the sprinters, plus Carlos (a thrower) and our coach. We had a really good time in Seattle and I miss it already! I wish I could go back, it was so beautiful.

How fun! I'm glad you're enjoying your senior season so far!
Oh Hol that looks so fun. I remember going to Iowa State when I was a freshman. I'll never forget that. Too bad you lost your phone! :( I'm sorry. Glad you had a blast. Can't wait to see you soon!
I would love to go to Seattle some time, it looks like you had fun! And I can't believe you would say you're only mediocre, it takes me like 15 minutes to run a mile! And that isn't much of an exaggeration!
So awesome. Mostly - I'm in awe that your teammate ran the mile in less than 4 minutes.
OH.MY.GOSH!!!
Ya, I can't get over that either... averaging a minute per lap, and not slowing down? So amazing!!
I'm so glad you took these pictures and shared them with us Holla! Now I want to go to Seattle. And I'm so proud of you for being such a great athlete!!!
Love you.
What a great adventure- and to break a 4 minute mile. So cool! I saw your mom last week at the school-- so fun to catch up!
